On my Dreamhost account, it says I have 1 free domain, would I still have to pay for extra fees?

Under the Domain Registered section I already have one domain registered but I need another domain for school and work purposes. It says I have 1 free on this account. If I register another domain will I have to pay more fees? If you can help me that would be awesome!

"you just need to login to your WebPanel and go to the Registrations page if the renewal prices are $0.00 this means that you have a free registration credit available. So if it shows you $9.95 for a renewal then this means that you have either already used up your free registration credit or have not yet received it."
If you have such a credit, you can use it for the renewal *or* for a new registration.
I’ve used up mine for the year. (Then again, I have four domains at DH; I’ve had an account there for eight years.)
