Battlefield 3 dedicated servers means no ping?

does dedicated servers mean that i dont lag compared to other players?
i have a 250 ms lag on black ops and it pisses me off.

No, dedicated servers means that EA/DICE hosts the servers, and keeps them running constantly. They are not hosted by players. You may want to look at getting a better internet connection, that would fix your lag issue.
