I’m the kind of person that patches my games with official and unofficial patches. But I’ve always wondered what a dedicated server patch does for video games, so, what exactly do they do?

A dedicated server patch is a patch for dedicated server. While a client patch will fix known issues on the player’s computer a server patch will fix any issues or add new features on the back end of the game.
