How to start Counter Strike Source dedicated server if srcds.exe doesn`t start…

1. Go to your Counter Strike Source folder…
2. Right click to srcds.exe…
3. Select Properties
4. You can see there `Target`
5. To the end of the line press spacebar then enter `-game cstrike` without “
6. Press apply then ok

Thats all you need to do… Now start scrds.exe, configure the server… And play :P

    @MrTargaszewskii after srcds is running simply start css.exe, open console and type : connect [YOUR IP ADRESS+PORT]. For ex : connect 8.8.8.8:8888
