Alternative dedicated server to godaddy please?

Hi

I have had enough of godaddy, my latest error is:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_CONST, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /home/content/t/o/v/toviasinger/html/inc/AMDev.Tools.Captcha.php on line 34

i dont understand!

The script works fine on my localhost computer xampp install.

I want to change, with domain expiring soon.

I need cheap deidcated server.

Why i am getting the error baffles me.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

  2. Simple
    http://geocities.yahoo.com/
    They have it all
    Domain Service
    Web Hosting-(No Add’s)
Software to design and Maintain your site.
Pagemaker Software, that is a combination of several and is WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get).

  3. I use the yahoo servers with unlimited bandwidth and space for $11.95 per month. Yahoo has a bunch of great features, like shared FTP, mysql, php, ect.

I’ve never had a problem or downtime
    Good luck.

  4. Parse Error::

    Possibilities…….
    1).
These and similar errors occur when Textpattern’s PHP files have been corrupted or incorrectly modified. The best solution is to download a fresh copy and replace the files on your server.

If you’re experiencing repeated problems, make sure your FTP client (or whatever program you’re using to transfer files to your server) isn’t set to ASCII mode.

    2).
Have you missed out any semicolon or made syntax error?

forgetten ; after constant? and Function();?

    Anyways ………..

Alternative to godaddy.com would be the
    http://www.dreamhost.com
    http://www.netfirms.com
    http://www.awardspace.com

    hope this helps
    Cheers:)
