Ok, A freind of mine is creating a privte wow server (any wow fans out there can come, blizzlike 100% ) And we need a dedicated pc so it can run 24/7. we want somthing cheap and we dont need a monitor ( can switch between his Pc and the server) Could anyone tell me.

1) we would need a powerfull graphics card
2) aprox specs for the PC
3) aprox cost of this all

Don’t know about 2 and 3, but a server does not need a high end graphics card because it is not displaying the game itself, just serving up network packets.

I was thinking of buying from esecuredata where they have VERY VERY cheap prices but their support sucks really bad. My other option was hivelocity. They are not too expensive when it comes to dedicated servers, they have friendly support, and also (this is what i like the best) they said they would help me install ANYTHING on my server for free! Another thing i like about hivelocity is that i can get 25 percent off (though that still does not compare to esecuredata).

i have never used either of those for dedicated servers. I’ve tried Domains at Retail for theirs and it was pretty good.

I am trying to find a good and cheap dedicated server for my private runescape server. Could someone email me with a few? and maybe how to put the server on one?. Thanks and before u answer on here. Private servers are NOT illegal so please dont even bother posting that.

Just a heads up tho. If Jagex does find any evidence of you using private servers, they can, and more than likely will ban you. Which is why I don’t do them. Not saying they’re illegal or anything.
