Does Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 use dedicated servers on PC? I hate matchmaking.

No mw3 doesnt have dedicated servers.

I want to host a dedicated server over LAN with my spare laptop and I want to have the server use a mod like Discovery or something like that. How would I go about doing this?

Now a days most companies offer these kind of services, because dedicated game server hosting makes it possible for more than two people to play the game over the internet. just like what social networking is offering to us today like facebook, they are using a dedicated server for their games like farmville and even their new application the uberstrike. it allows players from one country to another play with each other easily. in your case your on the right track offering it to locals or even hosting on on place since you are using lan. you can do a dedicated server hosting on your place making your self a host for games. it can really help you alot and even earn money on it.

I have VC:MP = Vice City Multiplayer. For those who don’t know, it is a free multiplayer game. I just want a free host that will allow me to host my website and game server together. I only want to host 1 server only. I also need FTP access.

All those web hosting companies who are offering Free Hosting they keep Free Hosting features limited in MySQL Data Bases, PHP and FTP accounts.

You can try this one this is best and I am already using this.

There are several others but they suspend your account if you don’t login back within 3 months. Also they are strict in other issues.

No, dedicated servers means that EA/DICE hosts the servers, and keeps them running constantly. They are not hosted by players. You may want to look at getting a better internet connection, that would fix your lag issue.

No, dedicated servers are not free. However, many of the servers used to play CoD are reimbursed by third-party groups, such as gaming leagues and clans.

Hi all, ive just bought a dedicated server for around 80 pounds a month but have been told i need certain licenses and payment security. Just wondering if anyone knows what things i need.

I am opening a L4D dedicated server on my laptop. It’s my first time doing this so I am thinking if you can shut down your computer/laptop while running the programme. Is it also going shut down the server as well?

Of course! The server is a program running in the windows environment you know as your computer. When you shut down your computer, you shut down the windows environment and all running programs within it, including the L4D server.

Please provide me the steps to install RED5 server in dedicated server(windows) and also provide me how to deploy my app in webapps folder(RED5 web server) asap.
